Scott Mackay talks RI politics with CJR

I always like it when Rhode Island shows up in the national media that I read, so I was particularly tickled to see CJR post a Q&A with former Projo reporter and current WRNI chief political analyst Scott Mackay. It won't be new information to any of my Rhode Island readers, but it's still fun to read statements like this one:

"A lot of times voters like to give a check, to put a Republican governor in there to see if they can check the Democratic legislature. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn’t."

He also talks about the appeal of Lincoln Chafee in a year in which voters aren't particularly pleased with either party. If you have a couple minutes, it's worth a read.
