"Glenn Beck University" is a thing that exists. Seriously.

Don't take my word for it: Here's a Yahoo News story with the details.

There are many things that can, should, and will be said about Glenn Beck U. The one that I'd like to ad is a serious one, because I'm in a serious mood.

Read some of the comments on that Yahoo News article. Get a good sampling. Try for 10. If you can only get through four or five without experiencing rage/despair convulsions, no one will hold it against you.

This is the country we live in, folks. Glenn Beck has decided to engage in the very kind of partisan brainwashing of which he constantly accuses liberals, even going so far as to call it "education" (a term he's been known to put in quotes like I just did). He has done this without a hint of irony or self-awareness, and he's being defended for it. Yes, it's hilarious, but it's also terrifying.

The fact that Glenn Beck has an audience of any size makes me scared for the future of my country. Not because he shouldn't be allowed to do or say the things he does and says (which is what he'd accuse me of thinking if he read the preceding sentence), but be cause we should all be smart enough not to listen.

By the time I got to it the first 10 comments were 2 supportive and 8 mocking, which is a decent ratio. I was worried when you said this that it was a thing out in the world, I'm glad it's still an internet pseudo-reality thing.
